PREMIO PINOCCHIO LIBERATUTTI

PREMIO PINOCCHIO LIBERATUTTI is organized by Fondazione POMA Liberatutti, a non-profit Third Sector entity established in Pescia in 2022.

REGULATIONS

The AWARD aims to enhance the figure of Pinocchio and pursues the following objectives:

Promote the knowledge and understanding of Carlo Lorenzini’s novel through new forms of interactive engagement.

Provide an opportunity to stimulate new group dynamics within the classroom.

Encourage public participation and the recovery of local cultural identities.

Stimulate the experimentation of innovative methods.

Participation in the AWARD is reserved for students of the third and fourth-year Graphic Arts sections of the Liceo artistico Berlinghieri in Pescia (PT).

The AWARD consists of the creation of digital works in the 80×80 cm format. The subject of the works must be Pinocchio.

Classes intending to participate must submit their registration by January 31, 2024, along with declarations of eligibility and release forms regarding the free use and publication of images, including those related to the communication activities the Foundation will carry out in support of the initiative.

The digital works must be submitted to the Foundation no later than May 3, 2024.

The works will be published on a freely accessible online platform.

A jury of experts appointed by Fondazione POMA Liberatutti will evaluate the competing works.

The most appreciated works will be displayed during the award ceremony, which will take place in Pescia on Friday, May 17, 2024, during school hours at Fondazione POMA Liberatutti headquarters, in the presence of the participating artists.

The AWARD consists of an XP-PEN Artist Pro 16 Graphic Tablet for Digital Drawing, with a 15.4-inch screen and a battery-free digital pen.
