The course is structured through dynamic and interactive lessons aimed at providing participants with basic Portuguese language skills related to everyday life.
Moments dedicated to Brazilian culture will be offered, including not only traditional festivals or specific music, but also curiosities of local folklore, aspects of typical cuisine, with the possibility of organizing a Brazilian-themed evening at the end of the course.
The direct teaching method will be used, focusing first on listening, then on pronunciation, as well as writing and reading aspects, aiming to make language learning as natural as possible.
Participants will be encouraged to actively interact with each other and the teacher through fun simulations of real-life situations, with the goal of learning to express themselves in Portuguese as naturally as possible.
The adopted textbook will allow practice in reading, writing, and studying the basic grammar of the language, all aimed at dialogue and oral expression, providing students with the tools to handle everyday situations (talking about themselves or expressing themselves in restaurants, offices, transport, healthcare facilities, etc.).
Each lesson will feature a small section called “Brasil em migalhas” (“Brazil in Crumbs”), in which a Brazilian proverb or expression will be taught, with notes on differences between European and Brazilian Portuguese.
