In March, Fondazione POMA Liberatutti presents a series of events dedicated to fashion, as well as to art, photography, and sustainability.
10,000 photographs will be displayed to revisit the Y2K era, a period marked by experimental and bold fashion, where images capture the iconic and enduring brands of the collective imagination.
These 10,000 photographs will line the exhibition halls on the upper floor of the Foundation and will serve as the setting for the events scheduled across the five weekends of March.

Lavinia Farnese, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire, and Maria Luisa Frisa, curator and fashion theorist, Full Professor at IUAV University of Venice, Director of Dune magazine, and author of I racconti della moda (Einaudi 2024), will examine key dynamics in contemporary fashion.

Pop-Up by Arrostostudio
Giulia Giachi and Chiara Nanni from Arrosto Studio will present their approach to vintage fashion and upcycling, exploring the relationship between past and present. Particular attention will be given to the stylistic legacy of a decade that continues to influence the way we dress today.

6:00 p.m. – Talk with Parlasostenibile
6:30 p.m. – Screening of the documentary Green Effect. Fashion for Profit, produced by Eco Fashion Italy ETS
Silvia Moroni, founder of Parlasostenibile, will introduce the theme of sustainability ahead of the screening of Green Effect. Fashion for Profit, produced by the Eco Fashion Italy ETS Association. Alida Vallini, President of the Association, Davide Leinardi, and eco-manager Alessio Ciacci will also be present.
During the same weekend, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March, a workshop will be held with Almeno Nevicasse: a two-day experience to reflect on fashion, language, and sustainability. At the end of the workshop, participants will give new life to a sweater through thread and words, enriching it with their own reflections.
