Alessio Arena’s talk will focus on the awarding of the Nobel Prize to Dario Fo in 1997.
After a brief introduction to the Prize, the official motivations for its award to Fo by the Swedish Academy will be presented and explained, with particular attention given to highlighting the fundamental contribution of Franca Rame, co-author of the works.
Alessio Arena is Professor of Performing Arts at the University of Rosario (Argentina) and an accredited expert of the Fondazione Fo Rame.
