The òide by Serena Gallorini is a photographic self-portrait journey that, as the artist states, “arises from a need for personal catharsis.”
As noted in the analysis by Prof. Paolo Vitali, “At first unconditioned glance, Serena Gallorini’s photography appears dense with suggestions that cannot be compared to familiar images of spaces and objects. From the first visual encounter, one perceives an emotion that reverberates within the viewer, who, driven by an innate curiosity, searches in the recesses of the walls and spaces depicted for the truth of inanimate things, and for the origins and history of the environments.”
The works are available for purchase in a very limited edition.
The catalogue will be presented to the public on 19 September, the day of the inauguration, and will be available for purchase at the Foundation.
