Dario Fo is the artist as jester, a figure who engages and entertains through a kaleidoscopic range of skills. The jester is, in fact, a poet, actor, juggler, and musician. From sacred to secular songs, from jazz to folk, from popular song to opera, Fo was able to integrate music into his theatre as a powerful narrative tool.
