The project was born from the meeting of four young musicians, guided by a simple idea: to transform well-known pieces into new standards, drawing inspiration from the album of the same name by Herbie Hancock, which boldly and sensitively reimagined the repertoire. Piano, guitar, double bass, and drums are woven into a dialogue shaped by groove, interplay, and expressive freedom, where each arrangement becomes a space for shared exploration. The quartet offers a sonic journey that brings together immediacy and research, renewing familiar melodies with freshness, energy, and care.
