This new project presents music drawn from a range of inspirations, in which ethnic influences and contemporary jazz blend with Mediterranean echoes and Latin rhythms. Melody, careful attention to composition and arrangements—within a repertoire composed almost entirely of original pieces—together with research and improvisation, define the group’s stylistic approach, as it prepares to record a CD.
