He began his formative experiences with extensive travels across South America, Europe, the United States, and Asia, studying and holding a variety of roles related to cooking and nutrition, agriculture, body wellness and awareness, sustainable construction, and artisanal work with wood, metal, leather, and textiles. These experiences, combined with the broad perspective he acquired, contributed to his qualification as a polymath.
A passionate practitioner of permaculture and self-sufficiency, he has a strong interest in microbiology. This curiosity has evolved into ongoing experimentation and educational work in the field of fermentation.
