In 1995, I began working with the NGO Emergency (Life Support for Civilian War Victims), first as Regional Representative for Tuscany and later as a specialist in international law and anti-personnel mines, also serving as liaison with the United Nations (2000–2003).

In this context, I took part in several official United Nations meetings on the Ottawa Convention banning anti-personnel mines.

During these years, I also wrote for the magazine Emergency, published by the association.

In 1999, I moved to Turin to attend the Scuola Holden, where I completed my Master’s degree in July 2001. My final project became a radio drama written with Cristiano Cavina and Eric Minetto, “Il Testamento Bukowski”, broadcast in June 2001 by Rai Radio 3, directed by Sergio Ferrentino.

In the same year, I completed a Press Office training course at the Scuola Holden, led by communication consultant Jeanne Bordeau.

Also in 2001, I published the short story “Venti e cinquantotto”, in the volume “I racconti della buona notte 3” AA.VV.Canale Arte Edizioni, in collaboration with Scuola Holden and Lavazza, for Le Meridien Lingotto in Turin.

After completing my studies, I began a professional collaboration with Scuola Holden, which continues periodically to this day, teaching Screenwriting in secondary schools and at the Holden School.

In 2002, I devoted most of my work to theatre writing. My dramaturgy “Una dichiarazione d’amore”,was staged at Teatro Gobetti in Turin for Teatro Stabile di Torino, created with Eric Minetto, Cristiano Cavina and Michele Di Mauro, who also directed the production.

I published the book “Mine Antiuomo” – Biblioteca Franco Serantini Editore – Prefazione di Gino Strada – Introduzione di Antonio A. Martino – Pisa 2003.

Between 2002 and 2009, I co-wrote texts for the cabaret artist William Catania, winner of the Festival Nazionale del Cabaret 2004 National Cabaret Festival at T.N.T. Turin, later participating in workshops connected to the Mediaset television programme Zelig.

Between 2007 and 2008, I completed the Master in Screenwriting with Tracce and Indigo Film, Rome.

Between 2012 and 2014, I taught five screenwriting courses in Tuscany for Scuola Holden: two introductory and two advanced courses.

Since 2020, I have collaborated with Biblioteca San Giorgio di Pistoia. Together with Scuola Holden I co-organized two screenwriting programmes: “Pensare e scrivere per il Cinema – Dall’idea alla sceneggiatura” – October-December 2020; “Pensare e Scrivere per il Cinema – Livello avanzato” – May-June 2021.

In September 2021, I was invited by Professor Vincenzo Mele, Department of Political Science, University of Pisa, to lead a writing workshop to support students in writing their final thesis: “Laboratorio di scrittura per le scienze sociali – Seminari di introduzione alla scrittura pubblica e accademica”.
