Descrizione
It tells the story of two genealogies that meet to give life to a new fruit. It speaks of sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, grandparents and ancestors. It gathers names, stories, and anecdotes, missed or repeated words, in a unique—often forgotten—interweaving of seeds, roots, and branches.
This Tree, in its uniqueness and unrepeatable nature, is no exception. It recounts a personal and family journey, setting out in search of—and laying bare—ancestors, unresolved reckonings, and recurring patterns. It brings to light landscapes of the soul that, from the Italian peninsula at the end of the nineteenth century, extend into the new millennium, crossing conflicts, world wars, economic booms, and new technologies, while echoing other places, times, and dimensions.
Brought to the stage through the engaging power of storytelling—simple and direct, without seeking effect, costume, or classical theatrical style—this Tree becomes a systemic mirror for the story of everyone and of each individual: tracing signs of blind loyalties and unconscious exclusions, hidden potential and infinite resources that form the fabric of every trunk and every bark.
A Fruit that, in living presence and within the sacred space of art—between emotion and lightness—becomes a seed, inviting the audience to explore and feel the sap of their own Tree: to give thanks for the life received, to hold each leaf in their heart, to free themselves from dysfunctional dynamics, and thus make room for new movements.
In these times of rapid transition, honouring the Tree allows the passage to a new awareness to be rooted firmly, because good soil is needed to take a meaningful leap.
