DESCRIPTION
The boundary between information and disinformation is increasingly blurred today. The web is filled with content deliberately designed to become viral, and often, without realising it, we ourselves become part of this mechanism, contributing to its spread through sharing on social media.
Recognising fake news is a crucial skill in the digital age. It requires critical thinking, media literacy, and a cautious approach to information.
The course offers a practical programme consisting of five sessions aimed at identifying the main techniques of disinformation, understanding the psychological mechanisms that make us vulnerable, and developing strategies to verify sources and navigate information with full awareness.
