BABEL originates from, and draws inspiration from, Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities. Artist Francesco Forconi translates the essence of the narrative into painting, interpreting it through his own palette within a universe of signs and colours inhabited by a harmonious Chaos, the genetic code and personal alphabet of Skim. This language takes shape and unfolds in a series of dreamlike architectures presented in the exhibition, among paintings and nautical charts that trace a route toward a world shaped by dreams and storytelling.
Exhibition curated by Simone Teschioni Gallo.
